Water management, quality & harvesting

SEEC brings together decades of environmental engineering and soil science expertise to deliver robust, sustainable civil engineering solutions—covering everything from roads and carparks to stormwater systems, flood modelling, water harvesting, and water-sensitive urban design.

Dam and basin design

We can prepare detailed engineering design of WSUD structures and other integrated water management devices. This includes preparing tender documentation.

Onsite effluent and wastewater assessments

On allotments where sewer is not available there are strict government requirements controlling onsite treatment and disposal of effluent. We assess your site and prepare a report to accompany your DA detailing how those requirements will be met.

Onsite detention calculations and design

Assessment and design of onsite detention structures to control stormwater flows.

Flood modeling and assessment

We conduct one and two-dimensional flood assessments of flood heights and flow velocities and we can prepare flood management plans.

Water harvesting and reuse

We are experts in analysing water harvesting projects and providing detailed assessments of water availability. This includes all projects from a simple rainwater tank on a suburban house to a major water harvesting project for a mine.

Water cycle management studies

Assessment of development impacts on water quality to meet the requirements of government agencies such as WaterNSW (formerly SCA).

Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD)

Design of water sensitive measures to manage stormwater quality and achieve either target pollutant reductions or a neutral or benefiial effect on water quality (NorBE)
